Someone play some cartoon music.
I want to see if anyone on /co/ can play instruments
>>86583297
Have we done a "/co/ sings" thread before?
>>86583356
I think once for Jabberjaw, but I'd like for there to be more than just that somtime in the future.
Just search /co/ sings Jabberjaw and I'm sure something will come up.

I'm trying to practice voicing. If anyone has any examples or requests I'll try them out

Not many English brothers out there with an acting job so I took the easy route and did a line from Elba in Zootropolis.
Here it is for reference:

Here is mine:

Here is the line:
Life isn't some cartoon musical where you sing a little song and all your insipid dreams magically come true. So let it go.
Please rate. And let me know if you want me to do anything else.

It's good, but no offense, it's kind of easy because we've heard the line performed already. That's why comics are so good to voice; Normally, no one has done a rendition of a line/panel/comic that's seen as the definitive version of it.
Try this out:
I can go one night without sleep, no problem. Sure, I'm groggy as fuck the next day and a bit scattered...but that is easily fixed by perfectly legal canned drink. Two nights, that is when the problem's start. It isn't all that different from one night without. I'm just a little more tired, a little more out of it and need a little more of make wakefulness juice. Oh, and the penguins show up.
Just a couple of them, here and there. I'll pass some in the hallway, or have one sitting next to me on the bus. They keep to themselves generally on day 2. By day 3 I'll walk down the hall and pass one or two. They are always dicks and don't greet me with a 'good day to you' reply, but I'm used to it.
By day 4 the penguins won't stop talking to me, they keep telling me it's ok to go sleep but I know they are crafty little shits...they've been eying my kidney for days now. The second I sleep I know they'll get at it and the treasures that lurk within.
I'm going to stay awake, and keep them at bay...this is my 7th night with no sleep but I'm starting to understand how they operate, get how they think. I have a plan, and almost all the ingredients; 8 feet of red licorice, 4 rolls (one partially used) of aluminum foil, 2 bottles of my awake juice and the neighbor's cat (shaved). Fucking penguins are dicks, I'm going to win...

Didn't really know the sort of tone you wanted.

As a voice acting practice I tried doing some Quentin Quire lines in what I imagined to be his voice. If anyone wants me to do any other characters I'd like some suggestions.

I remember we've done Jabberjaw, Megas XLR opening, and Let it Go

I actually think comics are bad to voice because the dialogue isn't written with it being spoken in mind. It's meant to be read, not heard; so often times, when it is read aloud, it sounds awkward and clunky.

Sounds like badly written dialogue
If the dialogue is good it shouldn't matter
Can you do this on your phone?
Do we have any talented burpers here?
