What did you guys think of the blackest Night event?

I loved it. Honestly hope we can get a live action movie of it hell I'd even settle for an animated movie. Necron the booty destroyer

Loved it except Wonder Woman's masturbating to American flag.

I thought it was pretty mediocre. The main event, anyway. The side stories and tie-ins were pretty good. Sinestro Corps War was way better.

One of the best events so far. Looks really awesome after all GL Johns staff. How can anyone say it's bad when it's full of heart-breaking and great momens?

Honestly for me it marked the point in DC where things started going down hill. I cant think of a single series after blackest night that recovered from it and made me actually want to read it.

Dragged on for way too long. Yes, the main event was only 12 issues plus a zero, but it was deeply tied to Green Lantern, and GLC to an extent. It was also worked into some of the other titles being published at the time. So it was a little tough to ignore if you reading DC that year.

A lot of people say this, but I prefer BN. I dunno, Sinestro Corps' finale felt a lot more cluttered and barely had room to breath, while BN had the main mini to work with, leaving the tie-ins more space to let the evnts unfold.

I love what little I've seen of it, it's a good idea. I need to read all of it to see if it's a good execution though.
