Fuck /co/ I just finished reading and LOVED Legends of the Dark Knight vol 1 by Grant/Breyfogle. I want to read something that's done in a similar way. But what is as good as or better than Grant's writing and Breyfogle's art?
I made a list and what to hear what you think.
>The Adams/O'neil omnibus
>LOTDK: Jim Aparo
>LOTDK: Doug Moench/Kelley Jones
>Shadow of the Bat: Alan Grant, vol 1
The last one may seem obvious, but what do you think?
Shadow of the bat is not that good. Continue reading LotDK or read Grant's/Breyfogle's Tec, which isn't collected.

Read volume 2. (Don't know if it's out yet but should be soon.)

Breyfogle vol 1 collects only tec and an annual I think.

Breyfogle/Grant vol 2 isn't even solicited yet.
> inb4 someone links vol 2 that's on amazon. They have it wrong.
Come on guys, someone here must've read it. What are the stories like? I've heard people say that O'Neil's stories were like martial arts adventures. Not sure if I'm in to that. Can someone elaborate?
Those early Peter Milligan Batman comics.

I'd avoid those Neal Adams collections since the new coloring is bad.

Also to add:
Matt Wagner's Batman
Englehart and Rogers' run
Legends of the Dark Knight series
Archie Goodwin's work

Dark Night, Dark City?

That's most of it yeah, but it left out a few issues of his run at the time.
i'm reading len weins run now what shoulld read next?
I already read englehart and archie goodwin's runs
read City of crime by David Lapham. The short run is criminally underrated.
Even Mike Barr and Alan Davis had a really short run on tec in the 80s, which is never brought up.

It's just nice with a story that doens't rely on Gotham City blowing up every wednesday.

Op here, is it any good? Wein is 70's Batman, right?
