Does this continue the character arcs and character dynamics of New X-Men?
Or does Whedon pretty much do his own thing?
I don't know I don't read comics

Now the million dollar question.
Does it take itself fairly seriously or is it as stupid as his Avengers scripts?
Put it this way, is it more
>Vision and Ultron's final scene
or
>I don't see how that's a party

It's mostly intent on delivering good character moments I feel like and the plot mostly serves that.
Not too quippy by Whedon standards, though it's still Whedon at the end of the day.

For the most part I'd say it's enough if both. It's strongly built off of Scott and Emma's relationship as well as Xavier's diminished role as a leader, but he also introduces enough new concepts to keep things interesting

Both

Both (not to MCU standards of quip tho)
I've read some anons say New, Astonishing and Uncanny X-Force are kind of a trilogy, and I'd say agree with that
Aaron's Wolverine (not the school run) could go before X-force if you want, a lot of the same characters and plots

Thanks guys.
Finishing up Morrison's run and I like the Scott/Emma stuff. Glad to see it gets continued.

It continues Cyclops, Emma and Beast quite well.
It resets everyone else and it's quite the shitty reset.
