Superhero comics are entirely about an endless play of setting things up, tearing them down, resetting realities, writing stories, having those stories undone with a page or two, and all in the middle of so much office drama.

The universe alone has been forced into so many different multi-uni-triad things that it makes all these actions pointless in the end. Good people will go bad, bad people will go good, no one will die forever, everyone will die once or twice. Cities will die, armies will rise and fall, all of it will be forgotten when needed, and in the end;

You'll realize you spent 300 dollars following a comic book event over five years only to have it all be reset in a matter of three or four issues and realize you don't care how it will be put back together if ever. Superhero comics are the worst form of comic or cartoon in the industry, and the movies only feel fresh because they haven't been bogged down with the weight of retcons or continuity. Superhero comics have made all the wrong steps for all the wrong reasons and well and good deserve the lot they were dealt. I drink to their continual decay.
