I guess the reason she went to earth didn't seem very important to me. I don't remember her sticking up for homeworld, she was pissed off at the crystal gems because they kept her in the mirror for thousands of years without caring about who she was. She wanted to get back to homeworld because of course she did, it's her home. Plus, you can say that homeworld is the main reason she was tortured and cracked, but it never would have happened if the crystal gems hadn't rebelled in the first place, and I doubt that is lost on Lapis.

I've been musing with ideas related to how Lapis' mirror reflection powers can not only show everything she has ever seen, but the sounds that come with it too.
