My big issue with A-Force is that it tried to fit round pieces into square pegs by teaming-up a bunch of characters who were at best passing acquaintances and then selling the whole book on their friendship and sisterhood and whatnot. Which was OK when doing the Secret Wars thing because alt universes, but in the main one? Ho boy.

DC had the advantage of having BOP do their relationship making over a decade ago and it was all done organically.
Marvel is just trying to throw a bunch of unrelated female characters together just because they want them to be popular. And hell they don't even have the patience to let it simmer a bit since they already cancelled it and will probably just relaunch it again later.
I think they've done an all female X Men team book before but the only X-Women book is that oneshot drawn by Manara. You'd think they could pull their head out of the ass about the x men rights for one second to pander to people with popular characters who ALREADY have a friendship.
