I'm sorta surprised at the ZOMBIE SIMPSONS reactions here about a fucking Halloween episode. Literally bringing in Grimes' bastard son seeking Homer's death, in the actual "real world" of the show, was dumber than that and that was like, what, 60 years ago now?

I haven't watched Simpsons for years but I might actually start again for season 28 because everything I've heard about it so far sounds batshit crazy and hilariously bad. The fucking description alone of the Great Gatsby hip-hop parody (ft. the Simpsons) is funnier than anything else the show's done recently.

Also apparently it was originally going to be a half-hour episode but they all just got SO INTO IT during the table read or whatever that they decided to go for a full hour. Out of pretty much all the episodes over the years The Great Phatsby is the one that really inspired them.
