It was like the essence of Youtube Poop coalesced and incarnated into an avatar that was too much for Cynder, forcing her to abandon her trolling ways. But the battle was too much, for in the end, his heart gave out, and he died, cursing all the while.

AoSth Robotnik is closer to the games' Robotnik. I've heard people say 90s Robotnik was "dark" and "badass" and modern Eggman is "weak" and "lame", but that's not really true. 90s Robotnik dressed like a clown, had armies of robots that looked like Fisher-Price toys, went red in the face when defeated, and BUILT A DEATH STAR WITH HIS FACE ON IT.

The only reason why people say classic Robotnik is dark and badass is because SatAM colored their impressions of him. Game Robotnik is nothing like Satam Robotnik. AoSth Robotnik is quite a bit like game Robotnik, whatnot with his campiness and egotism.

It didn't help that the american box art of Eggman didn't help. He had a horrible grimace on his face, he always appeared larche and imposing, and instead of circular shades, he appeared to just have two black holes for eyes.
Anyway, I could go either way on Robotnik. With the exception of Underground, I love all of them, if anything, I actually like having different versions of the Eggman that are wild departures from each other. It's interesting that way.

I dunno man. SatAM just bored me both today and way back when it was first airing. AoStH still gets laughs out of me even if it's just Looney Toons-lite.

Watching SatAM today it's super obvious it was just some concepts for another, original show, maybe even more than one, they were unable to get off the ground and into production that they just slapped Sonic and Tails into and changed around a bit to fit better.

Sure, there's not much in those older games, you know all they had when they were making SatAM, but even just after playing a zone or two in any Mega Drive Sonic game it's obvious Sonic in those and Sonic in SatAM are two wholly different characters.

Now AoStH has the same issues. But at least it can get a laugh out of me and entertain me somewhat. Can't say the same for SatAM, hell I found even Underground better.

I always thought that the SatAM series would've improved if none of the Sonic characters or other anthropomorphic animals appeared and were instead replaced by humans. Like, make them part of a post-apocalyptic resistance group of different people from all over the world... maybe use something other than superpowers or whatever to fill in the need for a superpowered hedgehog and whatnot, like a robotic exo-suit or something similar. Basically, make it a grittier Captain Planet with a mechanical battle suit or robot as the main focus instead of Sonic as an entity, which a slightly Ninja Turtles-esque approach toward villains and enemies (in the way of mutants or extra-dimensional threats and whatnot).

Like an American version of Dougram or VOTOMS.

The Archie comics are based on the cartoons, not the other way around. It's why the comics had a weird blend of SatAM characters and AoStH tone (except for the first story by- I shit you not- Ken Penders, which was the first dramatic story the comic did).
