As far as I knew it was never happening at all. I have never once heard of the MCU and the TV/Netflix shows having any plans on crossing over.

These. If crossovers are your entire reason for being interested int he MCU, perhaps stick to the comics? I'm not trying to be a dick, I agree crossovers would be nice, I've just not expected anything more than mentions and winks in a while. I'm happy enough knowing that they all occur in the same setting and they COULD cross over, if they so wished.

It's also not as if we have gotten nothing. Where the Helecarrier came from in AoU is answered in AoS. We had Lady Sif turn up there too.

I never expected them to 'allow' TV actors to turn up in the movies. It's impressive enough that we got even a secondary movie character from Thor of AoS.

Agents of SHIELD is so noncanon now that season 3 isn't even getting a physical release.

Probably put it at the end. The final battle and all that will probably take place in current time. If I was putting the movie precisely where it started, I'd have to put both Thor movies in the front/top since the opening scenes for both take place thousands of years ago. The time between IM1 to Dr. Strange current will be passed in a training montage from what I've heard anyway.

It's a real shame that the target audience is so different for Spider-Man and Daredevil meaning they'll never cross over. I'd love to see Matt chewing Peter out like in USM, especially after Tony's inflated his ego.

Going up against and fighting the bigwigs, championing to create what is now probably one of the most successful film franchises right now is not the work of a beta. Fiege is very much alpha and is now one of head honchos at Marvel because of it.

To be honest, they dont have to crossover. The world is a big ass place. Yeah it would be cool if Daredevil is on the screen with Tony Stark broing it up with each other, but relistically, its never gonna happen because the movies are written years in advance while the TV shows only take a few months to write. Itll put writers into a corner to fit in with the movies and it keeps them from telling really interesting stories.

The best way to do it to be honest is just namedrop characters. If Daredevil doesnt even get a namedrop or small cameo in Spider Man Homecoming you can forget about the TV shows and movies ever crossing over. Its the perfect oppurtunity to do so because DD and Spidey are like, literally two fucking blocks away from each other. Not to mention DD has been operating a year longer than Spidey almost, it wouldnt make sense.
