I did hear a theory regarding this, normal Heinz has suffered, a lot, as such he can't really bring himself to inflict too much harm since he knows what that feels like. The pain and hardship gives him a reason to lash out at the world but it also helped him develop empathy which prevents him going to far. Second dimension Heinz only has superficial pain to deal with giving him an excuse to lash out without being able to fully comprehend what he's doing to other people.
