So I imagine Machinima-tan being a total bro who likes vidya and machinimas but is kind of a dick when it comes to business, not so much out of malice but more out of a poor understanding of how a business works. Often letting money cloud her judgment combined with her less than great understanding of how to successfully run a business has led to many of her machinima creators jumping ship.

It starts happening a lot. Machinima-tan begins quickly getting overwhelmed, deciding to just not answer a lot of the angry phone calls or emails she gets, sure that the problem will sort itself out.

Most of her machinima creators bail, her only employees being the diehard fans and the easily impressionable. She is still making enough money to afford clothes, food, games, and alcohol but has to move in with Rooster Teeth-tan.

I haven't kept up with machinima for years, so if there is some kind of glaring inconsistency with what I wrote, sorry :(

Got a messy first draft of TV Guide-tan. Was going pretty strictly off of >>85991954 for the design.

While doing a little research on TV Guide, it seems like its channel became "Pop" last year. Same channel, just different name. I don't know if they still run TV Guide overlays though. The "P" ear ring is a hat-tip to that.

Perhaps not an all powerful being, but all-knowing I can see.

Back when there were just a couple dozen channels and like 2 service providers, her job was easy. She impressed everyone with her knowledge. "Blondie? Comes on at 6pm, baby. Catch it on NBC!" She probably even did the whole "check em" thing too. "Monday? 7:30? Oh, that must mean Gilligan's Isle is coming on CBS right now. Check it!" And bam, there it was, just as she said.

But more and more channels kept piling on. And with them, more programming. Occasionally there are scheduling issues. That had always happened even when there were only a few channels, but now it was happening at least 10 times more often across hundreds of channels. She'd get complaints on the phone, "you said Friends would be on! What the Hell!?" She'd adapt with the internet, allowing her to update at a moment's notice and to allow for people to contact her more easily, but it really only made it easier for people to bitch at her over short-lived mistakes.

She'd eventually create helpers in an attempt to keep up, but it's never enough. There's always another scheduling error, and thus another correction. Live listings become clusterfucks. Now, TV Guide's entire office is filled with nothing but a dozen or so computer monitors and hundreds of pieces of paper tacked onto the walls. Red ink striking out past, current, and future listings litter each paper and each computer monitor is showing at least 8 different channel broadcasts at once, constantly changing every few minutes to make sure she's not missing a change in programming.

She is tired.

For now, she works, praying one day that either CBS will put her out of her misery, or that someone else will come to take her place. She almost hopes for the former, never wishing her predicament on anyone else.
Story aside, design is fine then? I can move onto the lineart and we can figure out colors if so.

I think she's Jetix pre-Disney. Back in 2001, Disney bought out the company behind Fox Kids and used it to create Jetix, so I think some people determined that she was rebuilt for Disney's needs.

And it kinda makes sense visually, actually. Fox Kids' logo has the 2 search lights looking up, right? They start small at the bottom, and expand as they go up. Jetix's logo is the opposite; the points are on top and expand down as they become "feet."
