Last five issue of volume 1. Won't be doing volume 2 or New Exiles because I don't feel like it. Also I hear Claremont a shit

Volume 2 is inherently superior to volume 1. Parker > all of those other chucklefucks.
>>85993023
volume 2 is 19 issues of Claremont. Parker was New Exiles and it only lasted 6 isssues
Including toy ads because why not.
SHOCKER! TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH etc
I've always wanted to check this book out. There are a bunch of marvel ongoings that propose the idea of traveling to different universes, but either get canceled quickly or go a different direction not long after. Is it okay to read this without being that knowledgeable on X-Men history? I mean, I've been reading semi regularly since 2008, but I know very little about the 80s and 90s.

>I need a third dude for my regal alternate Avengers
>I'll use this old Punisher villain - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saracen_(comics)
Why do I find this so mind-bogglingly random.
Last regular issue
They provide a decent amount of exposition but you will definitely get more enjoyment out of it if you know your Marvel history

Including whatever this is because it takes place during issue #100
The End. I hope you all enjoyed this storytime. If you want to read volume 2 or New Exiles, tract them down at your local torrent place or buy them legally. Bye

>NOT!
Ah the 90s
>>85992899
Volume 2 was Jeff Parker basically trying to undo all the damage Claremont did. It was pretty good and deserved more than 6 issues.
New Exiles totally deserves skipping.
>>85993247
You have that backwards.
Also
>Things around here are only going to get worse?
Obviously. I can't remember the last time "More Kitty Pryde" made a book better.

>Not Spider-Man!
>Not Cable!
>Not Angel and the Ape!

It looks like the Hulk is taking a selfie with Blink...

In two consecutive stories now, Claremont has "saved the die" by having Reed Richards blow up the Earth.
This series suffered far too long at his hands.
>>85994257
>As far as the palace systems are concerned, I don't exist.
As I reader, I wish I could say the same of the series. Go away, Psylocke, you suck.
>>85994297
>A Spider-Man without Gwen Stacy angst? I Chris Claremont, will rectify this injustice!
Seriously. I fucking hate this series so much once Claremont takes over.
>>85994470
I thought "Dangerous and uncomfortable for others" was what Wolverine did, and was the best at?
>>85994470
Snipped.

Fuck Sage.
>>85993136
how the fuck is sabretooth as strong as a hulk
>>85994799
It took Claremont 10 (TEN) issues to take a team made up mostly of obscure and forgotten or characters that never got much use or completely new ones and turn them almost entirely into his standbies of Sage/Psylocke/Rogue/Shadowcat, with a male Mystique as a bonus.I know the obscure/new thing kinda fell apart when Sabretooth and Spider-Man 2099 ended up on the team, but that happened a lot more organically.

Thanks for running it.
Days of Then and Now was a welcome send off compared to Claremont.
