There are already scans of the old issues of Demon widely available. What we're searching for is the high quality from the omnibus, I doubt you have that unless you scanned it yourself. You could open the file or post a page to make sure.

I bought The Demon omni when it first came out and I'm not impressed with the paper quality. It's printed on pulpy paper with no glossy finish.

I know OMAC and Kamandi were released in DC Archive format so I would check if New Gods and The Demon are too before I blow money on an omnibus.

The thing about The Demon Omnibus is that Kirby's cut pages are inked, colored and reinserted into the story. You can't get them anywhere else.

I hope the Fourth World Omnibuses don't have extras like that that I'd be missing out on.

Kamandi was the only one to get the archive treatment. The first is going for around 75$ snd the second isvat cover price, but between them it only covers issurs 1-20.
People are split in their opinion of the paper on the omnis. I lke it, personally. The original comics didn't have a glossy finish either.

The New God Omnibus are on pulpy paper which I prefer by far.

The glossy paper like in the early Marvel Masterworks holds up well but it completely sterilizes the color and makes it look digital like a MS Paintcan filled the panels. These comics were created to be on paper so keep them on paper. The ink is supposed to bleed and the colors are supposed to be warm. These are comics. They even smell like comics.

I agree with that. And his Darkseid isn't fascistic enough. He definitely concentrates a bit TOO much on the fact that he's an actual god of evil. He needs to turn up the tyranny aspect of him.

I really wish we'd get a New Gods ongoing written by Morrison though. Let him explore the entirety of the Fourth World mythos. He does focus a lot on Darkseid but he at least remembers about other, virtually unused aspects of the New Gods.
