It's pretty good but I can see why people didn't save it. The motion of the snow clashes with the serenity aesthetic of gondola so it feels off. You could fix it by removing the snow blow or you could crop the bottom half.

No worries. The sense of pride and accomplishment probably stemmed more from the novel feeling of joy and actually not hating every second at work while listening to Hope for You Yet and reminiscing about the Alps than any actual quality or skill. And as such, I did get the gondolera moment and feels.

Regardless, Hope for You Yet has potential for a powerful gondolera for sure.

I think I started reading at a good time, seeing there are promises of an update on the horizont.

I'm not sure. At least in my experience, though, they were pretty nice. I think the CEO handles all the customer service himself, and he gave me some extra adtime when there was a problem getting the ad to display. I have to commend them, too: it is bar-none the best advertising I've ever done. Like, inordinate amounts of people not only clicked on the ad, but read far into the comic.

Enable antialiasing, enable pressure sensitivity to control the brushe's size, fiddle with the brush settings. If you have a shitty drawing tablet like me and you get jitters or weird tapering at the end, download Lazy Nezumi to fix it.
The other way around, which is the way the author draws the comic with, is to disable aliasing and draw with a fixed brush size then taper the lines with the eraser. It's a bit tedius but it works for him.
