Solely based on the promotional artstyle alone, I have a good feeling. Also, Disney is in a sort of more decent place now when it comes to their cartoons.

So basically the opposite of nuPPG

Judging by the art style I find it very likely it will be made in Flash-styled animation.

Dunno how to feel about that.

Read Carl Barks, who wrote the comics the original DT is based upon (the comics are better), and then a few eps of the series so you can get acquainted with the stuff it changed from the comics.
Also, read Don Rosa for an author who wrote lore-heavy stories around Barks' universe, since there's a chance that this show will adapt them, and the comics themselves are really good on their own.

There are so many cartoons now that have continuity, where every episode matters in some way, with characters that are actually characters instead of repetitive jokes, dumbed down for children.

Sure, this new PPG is bad. But shit like Wander over Yonder? Gravity Falls? I would have killed for those shows as a child. Hell, I would have killed for fucking kick buttouski just because it has even an ounce of change and character development.

Duck Tales is good, but imagine some of the other garbage that was out around the same time/a little later.

Remember the goddamn 101 dalmations cartoon? Timon & Pumbaa? The little mermaid cartoon? All those awful shows trying to market off whatever popular animated film Disney could use?

Tony Anselmo has been voicing Donald for like, the past 30 years. Chances are that almost any time you've heard Donald, it's been him. Pretty much every Donald voice before him was borderline indecipherable, though.

I actually liked the Quack Pack personalities. As much as I love the old Barks/Rosa Duck comics, I cannot understand why some people vehemently defend the three nephews being copypastas of each other. It's quite a waste.
