13 issues and aside from the first arc, the only thing Duggan seeded is "ayylmaos are going to come fuck Earth in the ass for Ultron's space crimes". I hope Ulysses' vision is a legitimate spoiler for future issues and not some vague menace, otherwise this book is proving to move too slowly for me to care.

Writers act as if arrows and bows were never real weapons because we have guns now. It's the same with Green arrow. Those guys shoot at people, sometimes in the head but it's no big deal unless the story needs it to be.
The first part of Fraction's Hawkeye run or Green arrow getting shot many times in the current run are kind of surreal.

I think he's talking about him not straight responding to Kate's first question in the first chapter of that story arc. He did say he didn't do later, but the question wasn't exactly the same. It opened the door to Clint actually having killed someone before, just not the guy in the tape.

It neither said anywhere that, in the case of him killing someone, he did so in cold blood. To the date, this is the first time Clint actually kills someone in cold blood. He was about to do it before at least 3 times that I can recall: in the last run with Bobbie (the female ghost host that tortured his wife, after she/he killed that other ghost guy... I think. My memories are fuzzy), in the thunderbolts (Karla was possessed/out of control/whatever, iirc was more of a mercy kill intention. Again, I think: it's been a while) and Osborn when he was directing the fake Avengers (because OOC moment, because Bendis).

Fraction was smartly ambiguous with Clint moral compass the whole run: he was clearly against active killing, but wasn't deeply remorseful if the time comes or the circumstances forced (more like awfully sad, I guess), he tried to save some thugs and didn't kill the architect or the russian bros, but then he did shoot some arrows that were almost worse than dead.

He's a good guy overall, who tries his best at being a good human being. But has walk a whole lot since the early days.

I'm a bit of a fan for the guy, but I may have got some facts wrong. So if anyone wants to correct any mistakes I've made, feel free to.

There are two things necessary to a story, necessary for development

Character development, and plot development. Some parts of a story are there just to do the former in some way, and give you feeling for the characters, not the plot, not always hunting down the dues ex machina that drives the story, but they are still innately advancing something. Since without moments like that you'd go "Who the hell is this asshole and why do I care? In fact, no I don't, they should die right now".

People are too quick to call shit filler, or say that nothing happened. The thing that happened is character advancement in this case. It showed Deadpool's relationship with Clint, his morality, and the interplay there.
