They go deal with b, he kills them all. Tempus goes back in time, meets Prof X, tell him to make the guy's parents never meet with his telepathy. Goes back. The guy doesn't exist, Xavier is no longer married to Mystique, Scott gets all his stuff.

Why would they need villians? Look at the last issue, there are two fights there. Both are done as a background to two characters talking about RICH WHITE MALES. Miles Morales hasn't been about interesting villians for a while. He can just touch anyone and win.
