Good God how can you people read most of these superhero comics?
I can't even get passed the first 2 or 3 pages unless one hooks me from the very get go.
Superhero comics I've read and actually enjoyed:
Kick Ass: I liked the concept more than the actual execution, which i thought was decent. I felt both films were better than the actual books.
Jupiter's Legacy: This one was legit great.
Watchmen...
The first two Superman comics of Earth 2 or whatever it was called.
Annnnd I think that's it.
The DC animated movies were better than their comic counterparts. Both versions of TKJ were pretty Meh for me.
The Dark Knight Returns 2 part movie was ten million times better than the comic, which I found to be dull. I really liked the movie versions.
All in all, manga is generally better at their main shtick which is shonen action stuff.

Left to right. Up to down. Letters into words. Pictures and words into sequences. Are you dumb?

I find turning the pages helps.

Back 2 gaia
>how can you people read most of these superhero comics?
/co/ had a common reply for this years back:
capefags have a preemptive desire to invest in something, do so for many years, and remain stuck being invested franchises they've spent so much money on. Nerds with expendable time and income are inherently addicted to "lore" and long-running fiction. If you're not already into capeshit, there's no use getting into it.
>manga is generally better at their main shtick which is shonen action stuff.
That's extremely debatable.

>>85836826
I don't get this. If you think it's bait, why bother replying? Just for the sake of using image macros? Just to be dismissive? Temporary self-gratification?
>>85836732
There's better stuff out there. But at the same time it kind of seems like you're too dumb for superhero comics so I don't know what to tell you.

I haven't bought ongoing comics for nearly a decade thanks to /co/. /co/ is the worst place to claim that since so many of us just pirate this stuff.

these threads are as old as the board itself

People worked hard to make those pics, most of which usually take a million hours in MS paint, it'd be rude not to post pics ro shit posts like the OP. You just don't understand. Also, manga a shit and only good for waifu faggotrywhich I happily engage in
>>85836732
And the same thing can be said about any bit of reading unless it has a brain magnet to suck you in. You should really find new trolling material, the whole manga/comic thing always gets old fast. The repetiveness is more annoying than the actual topic.
>>85837312
Sounds pretty accurate.
