Well reading the Kickstarter, it says that she's an alien that came to earth for some reason and was originally supposed to be a member of trill league, but stood out too much, so the creator made a story about her.

I'm in the same boat as you bro. Thought they would, if nothing else, at least release the animatics or something. I learned from backing that one though: Never just back a Pitch. Back the whole damn thing.

I'd rather have seen a 11-minute micro-episode of The Goon then watched as my money just got taken and stonewalled by the studio system. With the amount they raised, they probably could have put out a good short, but no... they wanted too much.

Why does everyone who's not me suck at coming up with super hero names? Jesus Christ I swear people just throw random cool sounding words as names without thinking about what they mean and how to apply it.

I mean its your money, but I don't get why people would send money to patreons or kickstarters after seeing some of the bullshit that those guys can do once they get the cash, like never finnishing their stuff or just never updating things anymore

I funded the Czap books thing and the 2Dcloud spring collection.

With small press comics projects most of the time they're just trying to raise money for the printers and everything is already completed beforehand, so they're usually reliable. One time I even got all the comics before the kickstarter had reached it's goal. It was weird.

i told a colleague of mine about my comic idea and he really got really offended because it wasn't "politically correct".
for starters i know the idea is shit and i just wanted to have fun, it's not like it was meant to be a serious comic.
I don't know who would it but.
the comic is about this black female scientist named takia and her boyfriend lincoln who is also a scientist, and they go to a super science convention, conference or whatever, and both takia and lincoln come up with an invention that will probably solve world hunger, and maybe even cancer.
so they present their invention to the people at the conferance, and as things were going great, a malfunction occurs that later led to an explosion, killing many of the people there.
takia survives, and wakes up out of unconsciousness at the hospital, with a letter laying by her bedside.
it's from lincoln, and the letter says that he and her are done dating, and so takia is so mad from getting dumped, she starts to grow and grow into a giant, and she burst's out the hospital angry as fuck but is also naked, and starts rampaging the city.
she see's a rampaging monster crab and starts beating the shit out of it cause all she see's is lincoln, defeating the monster crab, she faints and reverts back to normal size.
wakes up again at the same hospital, and she doesn't what happened until she saw herself on the news, in found footage videos of the battle, and the footage taking is really bad.
takia feels like it was her, but she doesn't want to believe.
