The idea is that she gets stuck in a village that experiences the same few days over and over, which leads up to a fire that destroys it.

But before the fire can start the days are reset. So Tats has to investigate the cause and force it to happen, thus breaking the curse.

HM writefag here. I've been writing a debut story for Blue Lightning and an introduction to the setting, or at least my in-depth synopsis of it.

I've been working on kid adventures and have been switching between Cookie and kid Conrad as the MC. I've come to the conclusion of doing an elseworld story like Gotham tv series, with some kid characters who shouldn't exist at that place and time but its elseworld so whatever.

The start will be a story about kid Conrad and the strange science kid who'll later be known as Doctor science. He has reached peak human intelligence by the age of 7 and was called a prodigy, he later decides to go back to the country and be a normal kid for a while, atleast this is what he tells to other people, while the true is that he wants to experiment in peace, far away from those who he consider nothing more than monkeys trying to use a stone to open up a nut, so called scientists.

this science kids starts to use other kids for his experiments of time perception.

One neat way to twist this would be for Tats to be getting most of her information about it from a rather old person, so the phrasing seems natural. Much later in the story she offhandedly mentions how strange it is that people are treating it like some recent occurrence only for the old person to say something "why deary, it's only been 2 years".

A quick scene, not from this story but good for a sequel:

I just love the idea of this perky, upbeat girl who dresses all gothic and depressing contrasted with this dour bitch who wears pastel hipster-y clothes. The eventual friendship would be so enjoyable.

Like the same week leading up to the fire over and over, with the setting of the fire being what triggers the reset.

Maybe that's how she finds out about it? The people remember a fire that never happened, a fire that is stuck trying to happen, and when she looks into it she can't find any record of it. That's what leads her to realize the fire is what needs to happen to break the cycle.

Now why does the fire not happening or being prevented cause the loop?

Usually such a loop would occur because something sacred gets destroyed and it forces time to revert to a point before it was destroyed, but this is the opposite, so how does the fire NOT happening cause this loop?

Because the fire happening is fated, it was meant to burn down. So time keeps going back to a time before it burned down to delay the inevitable.

Kid Cookie will also get his story which is gonna be build partly upon kid Conrads story.

Kid Conrad is gonna meet science kid, ALPHA 0.1, mashine kid and some others, while kid cookie meets kid ALPHA and the mashine gems.

Characters for both are gonna be the dark hearts masks, the goo monster(a part of ceo slick) and atleast one time travel character maybe Kay-2.

Kid Cookie's side character will mainly be Deelette while Conrad is gonna have kid Colette, kid Tats and some others.

The stories are gonna be less about defeating the evil and more about surviving the events.

Kid Conrad first adventure, the science kid.

this is kinda a mess of a storyline but for a reason. It starts with kid conrad being captured in science kids laboratory, science kid talks about a lot of things, with his experiences with the univeristy and other scientists and a lot of other things, Conrad asks why is kid scientist telling him this and kids scientist says "maybe you'll understand why this is happening to you, maybe you'll understand that your live has now a reason".

there is a lot of scene shifts in this storyline, kid conrad is practically jumping from one memory into the other, starting from the moment he met science kid for the first time, at every moment kid conrad remembers the moment before even if it chronologically happened after the next memory, yet he seems unable to change his actions, eventhough he partially knows what'll happen in the future.

At some point he jumps into that one memory where science kid explains what is happening/is going to happen to him.

He goes on about the relativity of time and about the human perception of time, he created a mashine that alter peoples minds and created three scenarios, one in which the perception of time of time is speed up, everything is moving fast except you yourself, the other scenario is where the world around you is moving slow, it almost seems like it stands still, the third one is about the perception of time jumps, like Dr. Manhattan, being able to be at every point of time yet not being able to change anything.

Over Conrads memories he sees how science kid starts as weird prodigy, who starts to do worse and worse experiments.

I'm drawing a picture her, I doubt I'm gonna be this till the next thread though.

machine kid

actually a nice kid who is good with mashines but bad at sports, he states that humans will never be able to surpass their limitations unless they turn themselfs into machines and so be able to be always upgraded.

He tries his hand on artificial inteligence but he is not really good at it, which is why the robots he creates are kinda chaotic and sometimes need to be stopped, Conrad helps him with that. Machine kid wants to be a robot himself but he just can't exchange his bodyparts with machine parts for obvious reasons, he has been doing some prosthetics though, for people who needs them.

Veronica Merlo, a schizophrenic woman whose family was unable or unwilling to see her properly treated for her illness, instead opting to attempt to "care" for her themselves. She wandered away from her home and was lost for months in the streets of Chicago prior to being collected as part of illegal human experimentation trials, which succeeded in imbuing her with an ability, but failed in containing her. Her abilities create a sort of destructive infection, functionally rotting organic matter while transforming it into a viscous black sludge that she has some amount of control over, being able to shape it and use it to transmit the "infection". She inadvertently became the source of a tremendous plague, dubbed "Toxique", before ultimately being "taken off the streets", phrased intentionally cryptically to not completely give the ending away.

Hey guys, HM!Anon here, I can do homeless characters too! He's an antagonist for El Fuerte, and basically is the hardcore deathmatch wrestling to her Lucha Libre. I haven't worked out a name for this fella yet, but here's what I got so far:

>Wears a magic mask similar to El Fuego's that grants him incredible strength and a healing factor dependant on his willpower. Was imprisoned for 15 years underground to the point where he's lost any memory of who he was before and has developed paranoid/schizophrenic tendencies. Hides out in all sorts of derelict, abandoned buildings. Violent asocial misanthrope, prone to going on killing sprees at perceived slights or injustices.
