Godzooky was no worse than Minya. And Minya is Toho canon.

All I know is they couldn't use his iconic roar so they got the guy who played Lurch to voice him instead.

I loved Godzilla movies as a kid, and even in first grade I thought the cartoon was garbage.

I've always thought Hanna Barbera was cheap, rinky-dink garbage for kids too stupid to know the difference between shit and quality.

That's still most of you, by the way.

Back when I was a kid I thought all the stupid kids would get smarter eventually.

Glad I didn't bet money on it.

About as watchable as your standard low-budget monster movie fare, just in animated form.

It was my introduction to Godzilla, so I appreciate it for that. Other than that, I wish they could have made it as they originally intended, a mix between Jonny Quest and the original movies with all of Godzilla's traits intact.

Instead, HB were forced to tone it down, make it dumb, add Godzooky, change and apparently they couldn't even secure Godzilla's exact look, voice or powers, just his name and his vague concept.
