Maybe I sound like a contrarian here, but I thought the peak of Invader Zim was the first 10 episodes.

The second half of season 1 and all of season 2 lost the dark edgy humor the show started out with, instead focusing on generic middle-school type humor and increasingly overused jokes about Dib's head. The first really bad episode was 'Zim Eats Waffles', and from that point on they just got worse.

A lot of people are complaining about how this was canceled before it's time, but I'm glad. Some series should've been axed when they were in their prime so we remember them better.

Not gonna lie Zim eats waffles is easily top 3 for me but I respect your opinion. Personally I think the only thing that annoyed me as it went on was the increasing amount of 'DOOMY DOOM DOOM' humour towards the end. I mean the pilot had the doom song but this shit wasn't around EVERY corner.
