I stopped reading Red Lanterns a while before it was cancelled, but wasn't Guy carrying around the reincarnation of the Butcher or something for a while? Perhaps Hal is a vessel for Ion's soul or something?

Theres so much going on at once if the part your interested in is not getting focused on your not really going to enjoy it much.
Then again i suppose theres no real alternative. Having a seperate mini for each thing would be absurd.
