Does anyone still watch the Simpsons?
Did you know Milhouse's parents got remarried?
>>85666749
they've actually remarried twice.
>>85667092
Really? Jesus Christ.
>>85667092
The Simpsons has now turned into The Young and the Restless.
I haven't watched the Simpsons since season 9. Have I missed anything important?
>>85666749
Did you also know that they're related and cousins?
>>85667433
someone post the family tree
>>85667420
Maude, ms. Krabbaple, and Krusty's dad died
>>85666749
yes, we know Milhouse's parents got remarried
we also know Luanne is still sleeping around and Kirk is still a fucking loser and they're explicitly only together to give Milhaus a normalish life
>>85666749
That was about 10 years ago. This Simpsons was still moderately decent back then.
>>85666749
I think I saw the episode where they got remarried. I remember as a kid of divorced parents finding it really annoying, but I don't remember specifically what they did that annoyed me.
>>85667628
If I remember right the episode was about Milhouse preferring that his parents be divorced. It was meant to be the reverse of a normal divorce situation.
>>85667628
probably the part where they got remarried and your parents didn't
>>85666749
>Does anyone still watch the Simpsons?
not as i used to.
i mean you can still get a laugh here and there in the newer ones, but you'll kinda get bored later.
to me when it comes to the newer episodes, everything they do, it's not like they haven't done it before.
i mean you got your celebrity cameo episode, your Lisa episode, your sideshow bob episode, your simpsons family go to another country episode, your lisa makes a new friend episode, your homer episode, your marge episode, homer and bart episodes, and your lisa's new love interest episode.
>>85667606
Fucking no it wasn't.
>>85667420
Comic book guy got a japanese mangaka wife
>>85666749
No.
Yes.
>>85666749
When was the Simpsons' last good year? I mean actually good, not "well that wasn't as shit as some other seasons". I'm thinking probably the late 90s sometime.
>>85670274
Was it any good, and does she ever come up again?
>>85670363
1997
Yeah. And in the same episode they "die", Nelson falls in love with emo Milhouse and his danish Indiana Jones uncle adopts him
>>85667514
This chalkboard gag isn't funny at all. 0/10.
>>85670373
>Was it any good
What do you think?
>does she ever come up again?
Don't know, don't care.
I tried for seasons 26 and 27
I couldn't. It's just so fucking bland and boring.
>>85667410
>The Young and the Restless.
Is that still around?
>>85667433
No, they actually aren't.
Everyone has an opposite in Shelbyville, but they aren't related to each other. Milhouse's parents are each other's opposites.
That being said, his mom's side did do some cousin marriage.
Simpsons:
Good Seasons: 2-9
Bad Seasons: 10-27
So the Simpsons have one third of good seasons and two thirds of bad seasons.
>>85667533
So in other words when Simpsons premiered, Bart had the average family. In 2016, Milhouse has the average family.
>>85673797
Season 10 isn't that bad tho
There are a couple of lacklustre episodes, but we also get 'The Wizard of evergreen terrace', 'Lisa Gets an A', Mark Hamill's excellent voice appearance in 'Mayored to the Mob', 'Viva Ned Flanders', 'Bart The Mother' (with the final Phil Hartman appearance), and the wonder of Max Powers and Chesty LeRoux in 'Homer To The Max'.

1999

>Did you know Milhouse's parents got remarried?
well now i know anon
>>85667420
Troy McClure last appearance was in season 10.
>>85667533
Milhouse is still gonna be a creepy fuck for the rest of his life tho

It's the one that had the Miyazaki tribute, so take it how you want it, and yeah, with Comic Book Guy and their nerdy hobbies.
>>85666749
I watched it when it was being marathon for a whole week.
They are also having an open relationship or something.
watching season 5 right now
>>85675627
Oh yeah, right. They had a threesome with the Mad Men guest of the week.
