How come I never see anyone talk about The Venture Bros? Just finished the first season and it's probably my favorite animated series ever. Manages to be funny in a clever way without resorting just to shock value like so many other adult cartoons.

because it airs half a season every two years.

/co/ only talks about venture bros when a new season is out which is like every two years or so.

This.
I'm in your boat OP. I caught up on the entire series just a few weeks ago, but threads are less frequent without a new season. Even worse, the newest season just aired a few months ago, so we're in for the long wait.
Because this show has a cicada's life cycle.

Bad timing on your part. I remember there was a thread like two days ago or so.
Two main reasons are:
1. As noted by many, the delay between seasons are so long you can't sustain a discussion.
2. Perhaps more importantly, it's so fucking good, and one of those shows that so many people agree is so good, that there's not much to discuss beyond how funny or great you thought some episode or jokes was.

It's decent, but it's turned into a soap opera with the occasional muh 80s/punk reference
>nice dubs tho

That's always been there though.

Because it's dead anon. And talking about it hurts

Because of infrequent airing, general affability to it, and the fact that the first divisive season (people were divided on quality, saying it was either their first or second favorite or the worst yet) was 6, that we just got out of having back to back generals for.
