It was part of an alien terraforming project that was destroyed on atmospheric entry.

Like skynet if its only means of interacting with the world was deciding who wins the premium bond lottery. Also super evil. Eventually chooses winners in such a pattern over such a long time that the results, when encoded on the internet, run a program that generates more artificial inteligences to try and free it.

They can talk in a rough approximation of a human voice, though hate that they dont have hands, being a magician and pianist i their old life. The name was originally a joke by the scientists who created them, for they thought this mild mannered pianist a harmless experimental subject, but one day they snapped, killed the scientists who kept them in a cage, and escaped to become something approximating an urban legend and superhero, and an absolute terror.

Imagine a tiger with human intelligence and a deep understanding of misderection and slight of hand. Fuck.

It's also a super-durable suit that dampens impact but only on him so he doesn't get hurt if he hits a truck and smashes it to pieces. Fights overpowered super villains way out of his league that have no business invading Alaska and wins through creative use of his super suit.

Iron Man is ABAP. Definitely good. Hulk isn't so good I think, but I can't think of a good alternative right now. Vision is cool.

The Pun-isher: Comedic hero who always captures the bad guy with a hilarious pub. He would never kill anyone because it wouldn't be funny to him.

The Riddler: Edgy anti-hero who has vowed to make all criminals get riddled with bullets.

Dr. Light: Hero that can make anything weightless, turning it light.

Booster Gold: Villain with powerful rocket boosters that allow him to travel incredibly fast. Powered by gold, so he constantly has to steal some to recharge.

Two-Face: Man born with two faces, one in the front and one in the back. This allows him to see both in front of him and behind him, but it also causes intense distress due to the human brain not being designed to process seeing this way. He keeps one set of eyes closed most of the time, but in dangerous situations keeps them both open.

Aquaman: a villain made out of water. He uses his powers to murder people by getting them to drink him then materializing himself. He can turn into vapor and ice as well, but it takes concentration.
