Seasons are too long which results in 75% filler. It would be much better condensed to 12 episodes.

Season 1, Major only had 13 episodes to get from nice guy to cold-blooded zombie murderer. Season 2 already had that to work with and just had to change from murderer to guy with partial remorse.
