Most of the dudes on this show were kinda worthless and unappealing to women.
It's no wonder the lesbian ships are most popular.
Here, they just played it safe since Shego has always been his protector.
Kind of jarring, but it was teased in certain episodes so it's not completely out of left field.

Babsgirl and Nightwing is almost always terrible but DC likes shipping Batman's sidekicks. They weren't even a thing until the 90s.

Kim only got with Ron after the guy she was with turned out to be made of goo.
The show didn't really know what to do with Ron in the end.

I thought his sudden face turn was absolutely retarded, but I loved him afterward and it only bothers me when I remember how he joined the team. Same with his relationship with Gwen. While it was being established I thought it was garbage, but afterward, when it stopped being made a big deal of in the show, it wasn't as bad. I still don't know WHY Kevin and Gwen, but it doesn't matter, I guess. Anyone to fan away the incest stink.

Hmmmm. I don't mind. I'd argue the relationship is kind of unhealthy because Drakken doesn't do much to stop Shego from being lazy and selfish, but they could be worse.

I can't even really imagine their relationship getting any deeper than the interactions they already had, beside Shego arguing less about her henchman contract and maybe a bit more lovey dovey stuff from Drakken.

Yeah, thinking back, they already were pretty casual and considerate with eachother. Didn't Drakken save her one time, during her team-up with her brothers just because he was concerned for her?
