I agree that it makes most sense that they would have brought them along, but since we've seen several depictions of this fight without them it just seems really odd. Like the first few should be "Thanos (or whoever) will be there causing mayhem" and once he's the official seer for every superheroes, it should go: "I see the Avengers stopping random bad guy there", "I see Spiderman stoppping random Spiderman's bad guy there".
