This issue didn't really do as much. Not bad but meh. Origin recap and only like one thing happened plot-wise (Simon trying and failing to use his new healing power). I guess the plot in general has been slow but at least they interacted more and that was fun, not really much of that in this one.

Part of what makes me believe is that the post came on a Saturday. I'm not fully aware of comic shipping practices, but as far as I've read, most stores don't get their shit until like Monday or so. So, he likely wouldn't have read the issue (in full) before making the "Red Dawn is the first event" point.

Plus, it *is* a satisfying solution -- it saves the somewhat faltering Green Lanterns lineup (I think it was the lowest preordered Berganza book in July) and introduces the JSA/etc. (although the JSA are kind of a weird team to take on the Red Lanterns + rage-powered Justice League).

But yeah, I still say the post is bullshit.
