I'm rewatching it too. A solid 20% of season 1 is reused material for things like scanner use and Aelita going up the towers and the animation is very clunky, especially the 3D. I think it gets better. Last time I watched I remember season 4 being fantastic.

I actually rewatched it all over the past month. Pretty mixed bag.

First season is entirely filler, but after season 1 Xana loses his cool creative deathtraps and just resorts to possessing people. William does fuck all before going evil, and the 1 episode hes around after being freed he goes evil again, and the ending felt anti climactic.

Overall the show is extremely formulamatic and inconsistent at times, and I would say the show aired in the wrong order but the episode number shows up at the beginning of every episode (i.e. the two Kiwi episodes near the end should have aired in the opposite order)

But i like the characters and the premise is neat. Catchy music, and when Xana isnt lazy he has some cool plans
