I still think they should have done a movie to establish his character before BvS, still I'm hoping they give Mr. Freeze another shot with Michael Fassbender or someone (hopefully with the Arkham City armor).

I don't want no more Joker. I feel like we have done enough with Joker. I would love to see Black Mask and Death Stroke.

If the Arkham Asylum setting rumors are true I'd probably see that movie, as long as it had the right tone. It'd have be pushed as more of a survival horror movie instead of the usual superhero genre.

Something interesting I found in an interview:

Court of Owls feels like a third act movie.

Definitly not a first movie, it would be great to put in small things in the first two movies that hints, and since we have to have one there would be a after credit scene in the end of second movie that would drop some "the court will judge you" kind shit.

My hope is

Sub plot Batman has been trying to gather evidence to get the Joker commited instead of going to Blackgate since he just thrives in there. Cameo for Croc and Scarecrow. After credits scene involves The Flash trying to get him to lighten up, gets interrupted by a call from Dick Greyson.

After credits scene has him discovering the Court of Owls plot, you could just toss in The Question as a cameo in that scene.

A ruthless agent of the Court of Owls makes a move against batman and his friends, sending some of the worst of the worst at the trio (Bruce, Dick, and Jason) batman has to keep his family alive while trying not to die. Jason gets a redemption when the Joker shows up for a cameo at the end for a show down Jason, he lets him live proving he's better than him. After credits scene plays with the idea of Bruce retiring and saying Jason would take up the mantle while Dick is fine with being his Nightwing.

Actual adaptation of a comic, that respects and embraces all elements of Batman's history and mythos, and doesn't limit itself by what's been shown in movies or what's been established in the "cinematic universe".

Another formulaic comic action movie extremely loosely adapting some comic storylines, a forced love interest, and a reinterpretation of some famous villain by a hot actor. Expect forced comedy and PG-13 themes for that family-friendly summer movie feel.

Everything will be specifically chosen with both a trilogy and a cinematic universe in mind, so certain villains and storylines will be delegated to occur in the second or third movie for no good reason, and then subsequently ruined when they realized they saved too much shit for the third movie and have to shove it all in haphazardly.

I expect all audiences to be equally disappointed, as the Burton films, the Nolan films, the MCU and the Arkham games have greatly skewed what casuals want from a Batman movie, so now everyone can go "NOT MUH BATMAN", the movie will underperform despite making a lot of money, and the self-fulfilling prophecy of DC's cinematic universe's failure will march on as executives continue to pound their heads against the walls trying to figure out what the fuck people want from them.

I hate when films have to have all these complex locations and there's so much shit going on. Just have one location where Batman is stuck for the entire movie and keep it simple. The plots for these films are always way too complex too.

The plot of Arkham Asylum is kinda shitty unfortunately and they'd have to completely rework the ending. I replayed Asylum a few days ago and I was still blown away at how awful titan Joker was.
But the idea of having a very neat, contained Batman story is perfect. After all the over-the-top bullshit of MoS and BvS, and since Nolan's movies already have their legacy of being super gigantic movies, something contained and simple is the way to go.
