What a mess.
Would have been a classic if not for the fucking dag thing with the Donald Duck voice.

I dunno. Even without the retard dog, the story itself managed to be all over the place, while simultaneously feeling like it was spinning it's wheels until the climax, which was pretty anti-climactic. The whole movie just lacked energy.
The Black Cauldron is a MESS. The Black Cauldron is a WASTE. The Black Cauldron is a BIG. FAT. MISTAKE.

I can say definitively that even though they take liberties with the plot, this is true to the spirit of the original book.

One of the better Disney girls in that movie.

Damn. I feel less interested in checking out the original book now.

It's a pretty short read, if you can check it out of somewhere to see, and want to, go ahead. You might like it, but I personally got very little out of it. It seems like the sort of fantasy series Disney ended up adapting because they couldn't get their hands on the rights of a better one, like the Hobbit, or Lord of the Rings.

The bedroom eyes were a bit much to handle.

>is an actual princess
>but not included as a Disney Princess because your movie didn't do well
>meanwhile non-princesses like Pocahontas and Mulan are allowed
I still liked that movie.
