Pink Diamond is Lion right? She was clearly corrupted into Lion.

I wish there was a more exciting twist to this or the SU crew would surprise with something amazing, but let's all be honest and realistic here. Pink Diamond is fucking Lion and it's not even subtle. You cannot even stare at the hair on her crystal silhouette and not see the obvious here. The only way she isn't is if it's one hell of a red herring. And when has the show ever pulled off a red herring like that before?

Blue goes from several to no moons.

White goes from having 11 orbiting planets to 12 with a massive variance in moons.

Yellow loses many moons and one planet.

Her being the only Diamond standing on something (she's bounding off of a broken sphere) may be a supporting idea for the theory I'm only just forming.

What if Pink Diamond had attempted the Core before?

Rose Quartz, having possibly not been born on Earth's Kindergardens may have been perfectly fine with destroying planet after planet in their wake for the sake of Crystal science.

After all, Rose seemed obsessed with the concept of change.

But I'm not one of the people who believes Rose is evil- I'm suggesting and agreeing the whole "earth is special" thing but maybe just because LIFE existed here. Real, thinking, feeling life.

And Pink Diamond may have not cared. Rose did.

The thing the Diamond colors is based on, the Warning sign describes each color as follows:

White- Places of Special Containment, chemicals or materials that react unlike any other materials on the list. Oxidizers, Asphyxiant gases, Radioactivity, and Biologic hazards fall under this.

Blue- Materials which cause damage to one's health by breathing it in. Chlorine, Carbon Monoxide, and Hydrophloric Acid are these.

Yellow- Explosively unstable things like Nitroglycerine. Can include regular explosives which require fuses or are otherwise safe unless triggered.

Red(Pink)- All Flammable things from mineral oil to gasoline to propane (and propane accessories).

Clearly this means Pink Diamond is Hank Hill.

Part of me thinks Sugar is going to going to go with the with the 'SURPRISE Rose Quartz is actually a really bad gem' Because the more we hear about Rose it keeps getting darker, and darker with her. Like a rebellion war crime leader type of bad. Which I guess comes with the the whole rebellion thing, but still. SU staff are really painting Rose in a really dark light lately.

Like what if Pink Diamond wasn't a really shitty Diamond, and Rose was this as a weakness, and the ONLY opportunity to raise a rebellion since pink was either weaker among the diamonds or just was in her first charge as a diamond with her first new planet.

At the time of its inception, the Earth hub was set to become a flagship operation for Homeworld, and they needed another authoritative body on Earth to keep from stretching themselves too thin with their other expansionist efforts.

Rose Quartz shattered Pink Diamond because at the time of the rebellion, the other Diamonds were too busy to enact an immediate retaliatory response. She had time, so to speak, if PD was out of the way.

honestly pink diamond's looks really weird to me, the proportions on the legs seem way off. Also the shots of her legs don't actually match up properly with the upper body, no matter which shots you use or how you fiddle with them the hands don't actually match up. I chose the adjustment that makes the arm closest in proportion to the top, the alternative makes her arm super long and wonky
