And anyway he didn't really have a role other than one of them getting fridged to cause a rift between Bruce and Damian and even that was only mentioned in passing a couple times

I knew Red Hood was a given since he doesn't show up in the Injustice comic either along with Supergirl.

Begs the question of whether he'll be freshly ressurected or established yet, if he's just been brought back to life after the first game they can bring Ra's into the game as well which seems like an obvious villain choice, with Superman gone the league of assassins will want to take control.

I'm just hoping for Katana given she's one of Batman's loyalest agents and she wasn't apart of the insurgency so they can still use her.

Firestorm, Static and Roy would be good as well. Bring in a lot of younger heroes to fight for Batman or Superman and Roy would be a good arrow Replacement.
