I haven't given an ETA yet. I've been getting a lot done on the update, but let's be honest: I am /not good/ at time estimates. I like to try things I haven't done before, and in some cases they end up being horrible suffering that takes nine times as long as planned.

There's a sort of Sunk Cost fallacy going on, where at some point you've spent so long working on something the wrong way that by God you're GOING to push it the final little bit. It'll be there soon, and at the very least, it should be a peak of visual impressiveness that I never ever feel the need to top.

Anyway, without an update or some other kind of direction this thread is going to descend into chaos as you draw argonian dicks or discuss what you'd like to pour into Katia's eyes.

So, 4chan, let's play a game...

If you have Flash and know how to use it, it's pretty solid for this sort of thing. I've always favored vector software over Photoshop, but I know a lot of Flash-like concepts were added to Photoshop after Adobe acquired Macromedia.

If you mean something free and you have no idea how to use advanced software, GraphicsGale is a pretty nice, stripped-down sprite program I still use for smaller animations. The free version can't export gif, but you can just make it in a gal file, export as avi, and use any one of a million online converters to turn the avi into a gif.

If you want to do something bigger than, like, a Prequel panel though, just use Flash or PS. Like, while I definitely defend Gale for small animations, you could learn Flash in the time it takes for a larger image in Gale to save.
