The episode had some pretty deeo observations on the nature of comedy and entertainers. You have larger than life personalities like Sardonyx who think they are better than everyone and are very boisterous and get their humor from out in the world around them. These types of personalities are well suited to talk shows and the like because they can make a joke out of anything and keep people talking

And then you have self deprecating entertainers that are more restrained and get their humor from their own flaws and inadequacies. These personality types are better suited as stand up comics due to having to look inwards and make up jokes involving themselves instead of having their comedy taken from their guests actions or whatever else.
