Nothing killed it, it just died out naturally. The fact that the Wii U barely sold was probably the main reason it died as quickly as it did. And the lack of Splatfests will probably take away the only reason some people kept playing. Although it still did really well as a game considering it was a stand-alone on a poorly-selling console. I hope this guarantees a sequel, which will bring the hype back.

I hope Lapis realizes that Jasper needs her love to survive. Jasper hurt herself because Lapis made her Jasper want her through forced fusion, but then Lapis abandoned her when she came back for more.

When Jasper get uncorrupted she will corrupt herself again unless Lapis lets her come back. Lapis is sending mixed signals, first she forced Jasper to stay with her, and then when Jasper wanted to stay with her forever she kicked her into the ground. I think Lapis truly wants Jasper but she is mentally confused after all she has been though.

I think Lapis will come around and forgive Jasper for her actions, and then she will stay with Jasper because she needs her, and deep down Lapis needs Jasper too. They can't heal unless they have each other.
