I've always thought that Aquaman was a cool character on paper, but I don't know anything about him. What runs show him at his full power/potential? Thanks in advance :)
Bumping
Every thing publisher with his name on it since 2011 is good

Not Bunn's run
>>85261268
Death of a Prince
Time and Tide
PAD's run
Veitch's run
Sub-Diego
Busiek's Sword of Atlantis
Brightest Day (it's shit, but the Aquaman parts are good)
Johns' run (New 52)
Parker's run (New 52)
Abnett's run (New 52/Rebirth)
The Atlantis Chronicles doesn't star Aquaman but it's good for lore if you're reading PAD's run

So start there with Geoff John's as writer?

It's weird to think Aquaman is probably the most consistently good Leaguer, and one of the longest good ones too.
Bunn only shat it up for like 6 issues whereas Hal, Barry, Bats, Supes, and Wondy had bad spots far longer than that.

Thank you Based Anon.
Recent Johns run is pretty newcomer friendly.
Peter David's run is considered the definitive one for many. It's extremely dark and serious. It came after decades of trying to retool Aquaman and was without a doubt the first successful attempt.
>Underwater civilization
>Bipedal humanoid mammals
highly dubious

Is the Aquaman and the Others book skippable?

I did not mind bunns run but that may be because i read it in trade i get the feeling as single issues it would not work as well.
