EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME
MULLETS
THONG
POWER ARMOR
STUPID POSES
THIS ONE'S GOT IT ALL EXCEPT A BIG GUN AND YOU KNOW TED'S GETTING THAT SHIT
We've been having a lot of 90s revival threads lately. Around the time I'm personally reading a lot of 90s books...'
GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD /CO/!
Or not, I'm okay with these threads.

That first art is fucking beautiful. It's something Captain America?

It's Men of War, my cum-guzzling newfriend.

It's weird because I like both. I just how the 90s "EXTREME" has become a style on it's own, where elements of it still persist. Spawn's look is still classic and works for instance. But I like the minimalism of 60s and 00s. I hate the current "make everything too realistic and ugly" of the 10s though.
I wonder what the "EXTREME" will be when we look back at the present in 20 years? What will we make fun of? Marvel having an interracial fetish? DC making everyone look exactly the same?
Only time will tell.

Lines and tacticool practical style. But mostly lines.
God, Flash's suit looks horrible with those "energy" lines. Some artists don't even know how to draw them properly.

That's mostly a leftover from the 90's though, since the New 52 costumes were designed by Jim "Wildstorm" Lee

So extreme it's in his name.

Yeah that's what I've begun to appreciate about the 90s is that they were unashamed about making characters stylish and fashionable. Because that's a big part of it. Now they're trying to make them "pratical" (for whom or what situation?) because tumblr freaks out at anything deemed sexy and now everything looks bland and the same.
Where the mulitcolored quarky outfits actually came alive on the page. They show THIS IS THE HERO, these are the normal people, not heroes.

Jared Stevens is fucking based though. I'm still sad that he just winds up getting shivved in the first issue of the modern JSA.

You have a pitiably warped perception of both the 90s and the present.
