Dutchess is one of Darkseid's Furies stranded on Earth working with the Suicide Squad, would have been a great bridge to tie in the SS movie to the eventual invasion of Apkolips the films are gearing up for.

there was maybe one or two actual big laughs in the entire movie. 90% of the jokes or quips got no response. There was this black guy sitting next to me, and the most he ever went was a muted, "Ha."

It wasn't... terrible I guess. Movie felt dumb. A lot of the squad interactions were like seeing a bunch of homeschooled kids talk together for the first time. So awkward.
