He's also a kid who frequently gets into shit way over his head, is arguably the most powerful person on his team yet the least popular, has to deal with shit like interstellar warlords wanting to bring an entire army down on earth, and just wants to do the right thing while getting zero respect from anyone for all that he's already done (the one instance of receiving the Avengers' gratitude notwithstanding).
