Wasn't the explanation for a weaker Thanos supposed to be that he was still weak from surviving Doomworld? Maestro Hulk was the same way - he survived too (aka not recreated by God Richards) but was weak and tired after the universe got recreated.

She may have thought about him in Arena, but not "What would Drax Do?" and the Drax she knew was VERY willing to fight. And Dennis Hopeless made it a point to have the entire cast be "Not that innocent" (or however the hell he phrased it), so the second line is out completely.

Finally, she didn't really fight in Arena. She attacked Darkhawk, but it was all flare, no teeth. She attacked Chase, but it was to get to Nico. And she fought Nico on the defensive.

That doesn't sound like what she's describing at all, now does it. She is describing going out and fighting again and again. That she chose to fight in order to survive. That she felt the thrill of battle and felt it Mirrored something in Drax.

Does what happened in Arena fit that at all?
