Are there any characters that your viewpoint altered on as time went on?
As a kid I sympathized with Ariel fully, but as an adult I sympathize with Triton more. His youngest daughter disappears for weeks hen goes off to leave with some random guy she just met without much of a goodbye. His fears towards humans make sense too; his wife was killed by humans. Ariel just comes off as as a silly teenager in love.
Also, on a different note, Squidward is funnier as an adult. He's less of a stick in the mud and more realistic.
How would Ariel know that strawberries are food without knowing what they're called?

She tries tasting everything she see's just in case

Probably saw others eating them and stole some

>Me as a kid: Why is King Triton such a hardass?
>Me as an adult: Damn, Ariel just fucks shit up left and right. Other than saving Prince Eric, every decision she makes just makes life suck for everyone around her. What a bitch.

Fuck. Now you've given me mental images of Ariel licking random objects and it's given me a boner.

I'm just imaging her attempting to sing "apart of your world" while stuffing glue down her face

I had a massive crush on Ariel as a kid.

I used to sympathize with Mulan but as I grew older I started to sympathize more with Shan Yu

She'll even listen to goregrind?
Jerrica is such two-faced trash. She whines about The Misfits before they even did anything to her and she coaxes Rio to cheat.
