The ability to make multiple characters sound different from one another is not "silly voices", you reductive faggot.

If an actor plays multiple characters, they need to sound different from each other. That sound be kind of god damned obvious down to the core of what acting IS. Every person in a show should come across as a unique individual and it's the actor's job to convey that uniqueness on top of just the surface level "giving a believable performance when reading the dialogue" shit that you seem to think defines the job in its entirety.

If an actor is on EVERY fucking show on every channel like Steve god damned Blum, maybe he should put forth a fucking effort to not make them all sound the fucking same, because that makes people think psychologically that they ARE all the same, or that they're all him, or at the very least, it's distracting as fuck and breaks immersion.

Resolute is the first thing that comes to mind if I were to bring up an opposite to the Corey Burton example given above. Blum literally has a scene where he is playing all three people in a conversation without altering his voice in any way so it's this eerie convo between some kind of army of clone soldiers who happen to have different facial features.

The rest are just his normal speaking voice, and his speaking voice with a back-of-the-throat growl added. And it's often bizarre and off-putting as hell to hear that voice come out of wildly unmatching character designs like that dwarf he played in Dragon Age.
