Gleason's back on Art Duties. First time where I'm actually impressed by the Rocafort Variant, might change my reservation to that one. First the Covers.
Reminder that one arm up, one arm tucked in is the GOAT Superhero Flight Pose

Looking at the general comments people are loving it, other than those two autists at the bottom comments

>he wears Krypto's cape
I didn't ask for these feels.

perfect
no Chris no read

Why is Lois pushing her 10 year old kid intoa battle with a supervillain?
We'really only a few issues in but this is definitely one of my favorite runs in Rebirth so far. Gleason and Tomasi make me happy to be Super fan.
Stopped reading Jurgens Action Comics after the second rebirth issue. Has it gotten better?
Superbooks are my fave out of Rebirth so far.
And I have never read a Superman book before.

At least go back and read Kelly (some crossovers though because it starts in the tail end of the triangle years), Johns, or Busiek's stuff if it's pre-FP Superman who interests you. Rebirth Action and Superman aren't bad but you can do better.

>family of murder.
Superman genes are basically genes of murder
I still can't get over how quickly they killed krypto. I mean especially after rereading superbro stuff with how that dog was always by his side through the Phantom zone and how they saved each other for that dog to die so quickly just seems fucking cruel. Like they're actively trying to erase everything superbro had.

he's in future solicits and probably not really dead
cheap shock cliffhanger shit though
>>85080781
He's not dead, he's going on them with their trip to dinosaur island.
>>85080543
Tell me about it.
Batbooks were such a let down so far and the only batbook I enjoyed was surprisingly Red Hood.
>>85080619
Thanks man. I avoided Superman mostly because of the confusing shit he had going whenever I tried to get into comics. I just said fuck it and picked up this time, I don't regret it.
>>85080824
Tell me about it. I was so hyped about Nightwing and King being on Batman but both left me underwhelmed.
>>85078094
Wait, how did his eyes go behind him?

I love to see how the opinions on the different books are varied. It's the proof of a solid line of books I think.
Personally the Batbooks have been my favorite, but I toltally understand why someone would prefer any of the others (JL non withstanding)

They literally said Eradicators mouth is a hole to the Phantom Zone.
He's not dead
>>85080532
yes
>>85080519
because he has super powers and he shouldn't run away from that responsibility by being a cowardly cuck.
>>85078103
cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
>>85078103
I just noticed that his jacket here is different from his jacket in Super Sons. Possibly a design change? Or will he get a new jacket? Anyone find any sellers for a jacket this looks like that?
>>85080781
The entire issue was about how Eradicate can imprison people in the Phantom Zone using his Vacuume. How did you not understand this?
>>85078103
Tomasi's really great but can you imagine if DC somehow pulled Paul Pope onto this?
>>85081307
They won't hopefully. And that incident wasn't exactly recent

Fuck must have missed that bit in the last storytime. I saw krypto get eaten but must not have read that his mouth was Phantom zone portal. Nevermind then.
