Absolutely phenomenal.
The patterning & reflectiveness is gorgeous.
Love the contrast between the blue & the black bands. Which is one of 3 things the BVS suit fucked up by making it the same blue as the rest of the suit.
It looks alien & sci-fi and yet still unquestionably Superman.
It made me love his exposed neck.
When the new 52 suit came out the collar never bothered me like it did other people, this makes me understand why he looks good without it.

The batsuit is simple and not hampered in aesthetics by the latest and greatest tech. His cape is some infinitely sprawling sentient creature that covers everything around it, just a simple cape. Plus hes not some huge typical-comic muscle-bound freak. Hes fit and strong but not 100% pure muscle.

Though I dislike the Snyder movies, I actually think the Supes costume (heck, all of the costumes in BvS) is pretty good. The only problem is the desaturated filter. He seemed to let it be more colorful in BvS than in MoS.

I like the art nouveau S shield and the size of the cape. I think they improved upon the suit in BvS by fixing the belt. Also, I liked the idea of the chainmail-like texture in MoS, but it ended up looking more like ugly lizard skin in anything but close shots. They fixed that, too, in BvS, by making the patterning a bit sparser.

I'm still a traditional guy who likes the classic suit with the red briefs, but as far as briefless Supes costumes go, this was a lot better than the shitty suit that came with the NuFiddyToo. Looks good.

That said, shit films overall.

I feel like they will go back to good old Lobo eventually. I mean, with a lot of the changes comics make, it's a vocal minority that complains about them because they complain about anything unfamiliar, but when you look at the bigger picture, most people are cool with the change. However, I don't know of a single person anywhere who liked Nubo. This change was universally loathed. It was just the worst thing.

Year One suit and particularly Mazzuccelli's depiction of it is also my favorite. Simple black-and-grey with no blue highlights, short ears, and a chunky burnt-gold pouch belt for a bit of color in the otherwise two-tone suit.

I also like when Batman isn't too "high-tech" and doesn't have too fantastical of a suit and gadgets, just useful tools for getting the job done. It actually makes him seem cooler and more badass when he's more MacGyver than "I built a device for literally any possible scenario and I carry all of them on my person at all times." And it just seems so much more iconographic when his suit is simple color blocks with no rigid seam lines or extraneous detailing.

The problem with the suit is that it would be best broken up by something across the waist and the side piping or pattern seems pretty useless.

The built in muscles and padding, especially for someone they forced to work out as much as they did Henry, is absurd and looks unattractive when its noticeable (essentially any non-action/non-rapid movement shots).

New52 had a number of variations. Take off the collar and they are equal to if not in many respects better to the Snyder suit.

Outside of Dan and his messy publishing history the Beetles have been pretty solid and never been majorly redesigned outside of Teds Charlton to DC update which included turning his triangular goggles into round ones and his logo ending with hard, straight lines as opposed to being rounded off and that one colour switch in the super buddies.

But nothing will be better than Cully Hamners Jaime. The circular finger tips, the popping blues, the subtle yet respectful logo, the silhouette. Everything about it is so good and the fact they're minorly and annoyingly redesigning it for Rebirth is a god damn shame.

I hope Ted at least gets a cool design as well
