Annihilaiton was the only amazing Cosmic event of the era.
Conquest was good, but definitely not better than Annihilation. War of Kings was bloated, but had its moments. Realm of Kings was just pointless padding, and Thanos Imperative didn't have enough meat to it, and really the only memorable part of it was Rich/Pete taking on Thanos at the end. And then Annihilators, which was so bad it doesn't even need to be talked about.
To say nothing of the downward slog of both the GotG and Nova books past the first dozen issues.

I don't know why /co/ holds those cosmic books to such a lofty standard. They're good books, but so many of you make them out to be some peerless magnum opus.
