I knew something bad was going to happen back in the early 90s when NBC started making more and more of their shows live action. I was one of the apparently few kids who hated Saved by the Bell and all it's imitators, so seeing them adding more of that ilk and pushing the actual cartoons earlier in the day was irritating (and then the actual cartoons were tripe like Yo Yogi!).

At least NBC's cartoon line-up going to shit was the reason I started channel hoping during a particularly bad episode of the combined SMB3/Captain N half-hour and finding Mystery Science Theater 3000 by happy accident.
